I titled this piece Mental Awareness because i believe it is important for us as humans to sit back and reflect on our most powerful tool: our brains.
Unfortunately, just like any tool, our minds are susceptible to wear and tear. It's difficult to express and articulate the millions of thoughts racing through the mind, so it is important to find a release that allows for that expression. The relationship between the brain and mind is a lifelong bond, so it is very crucial for the two to get along.
The brain as an organ will function, but what happens to the mind when nobody is taking care of it or giving it any attention? In my opinion, having a proper support system of friends or family or even strangers is instrumental in developing a healthy mind. But it all starts with us reflecting on our thoughts and feelings in order for the mind to work at its full potential.
