Our Mission

NoStigmas is building a global network of local Advocates so that no one faces mental health challenges alone—and stigmas are never a barrier to treatment or support.

We train and empower everyday people across communities via our NoStigmas Advocate Training—a peer‑led, evidence‑based model combining resilience practices, trauma-informed approaches, and suicide prevention strategies. Since its launch, our methodology has been independently evaluated by the Illinois Institute of Technology Center for Health Equity, Education, and Research, showing statistically significant progress in self-agency, stigmas reduction, stronger peer connections, and intervention readiness.

By 2037, thirty years after the initial vision and fifty years after the founder’s father died by suicide, we will have trained 1 million NoStigmas Advocates, creating interconnected support ecosystems that span the globe.

NoStigmas removes social, cultural, and emotional obstacles, liberates communities from shame, and mobilizes localized support for systemic mental wellness—turning isolation into connection and fear into hope.
