SPEAK events are short talks that can reduce stigmas and create a space for people to explore and discuss mental health.

A SPEAK event can happen anywhere, anytime — even virtually! Speakers come from the NoStigmas Ally Community, so they speak from a lived-experience perspective and are trained in how to provide peer support. Every Speaker shares a bit of their story, along with evidence-based strategies for eliminating stigmas and addressing crisis. It’s time to create lasting change around the culture of mental health — SPEAK out and combat stigmas!

Become a SPEAKer

When it comes to mental health, each of us has a unique story to tell. NoStigmas is here to help you authentically and confidently tell that story in under 15-minutes. After completing our guided training, you’ll be ready to participate in a SPEAK event and tell others about your mental health journey.
