'Tis the Season for Thanks and Giving!
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.
Following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this year’s #GivingTuesday will take place on November 27th and will kick off the giving season by inspiring people to collaborate and give back.

Since 2011, NoStigmas has empowered a global peer support network of mental health advocates through education, resources and support. The Colbeth Family
The Colbeth’s have been long time philanthropists in the area of mental health. In 2002 they created The Colbeth Clinic in Chicago for children suffering from various mental health disorders. This state of the art clinic developed in conjunction with the University of Illinois Medical Center has served thousands of inner-city children. In addition, the Colbeth's have supported numerous mental health and veteran organizations across the United States. Recently, Doug and his wife Margaret Co-Founded MedCircle Inc. - a mental health education venture headquartered in Carlsbad, California.
Why We Need Peer Support
Quite simply, those who have support tend to live more fulfilling lives and are less likely to die by suicide. Here are some people your support will help:
People who are uninsured or have limited access to traditional healthcare
Those living with a mental illness, substance use disorder, post-traumatic stress, self-harm and anxiety disorders
Caretakers of those in need of support
The LGBT, military and immigrant communities
The most common complaint we hear is, “I’ve searched for hours/days and can’t find the information I need to help myself/a loved one.” Help us continue to cultivate these resources and support and ever-growing peer support network!
